Ingredients
  • 1 cup Matzoh meal
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the matzoh meal, eggs, vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil in a large pot.
  4. Wet your hands with water and shape the matzoh mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Carefully drop the matzoh balls into the boiling broth.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Stir in the fresh dill and parsley.
  8. Serve the matzoh balls in bowls with the broth.
