Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
  8. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
  9. Cut into bars and serve.
