Ingredients
  • 2.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the buttermilk and honey. Stir until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times to bring it together.
  6. Roll or pat the dough to a thickness of about 1 inch.
  7. Use a round biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  9. Allow the biscuits to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
