Ingredients
  • 200 gram Paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
  • 200 gram Potato
  • 50 gram Cashew nuts
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 2 medium-sized Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 chopped Green chili
  • 4 tablespoon Fresh cream
  • for garnishing chopped Coriander leaves
  • 4 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • to taste Salt
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes, peel them, and mash them. Grate the paneer and mix it with mashed potatoes. Shape the mixture into small balls. Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls until golden brown. Soak the cashew nuts in warm water for 15 minutes and grind them into a smooth paste. In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chili. Cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. Add the cashew paste and cook for 5 minutes. Add water and bring it to a boil. Add fried paneer balls and simmer for 5 minutes. Add fresh cream and garam masala powder. Mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan or rice.
