Ingredients
  • 250 gram Macaroni
  • 200 gram Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. In a baking dish, combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Mix well.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
