Ingredients
  • 200 gram Macaroni
  • 200 gram Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 number Eggs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Drain the cooked macaroni and add it to the cheese sauce. Mix well.
  6. Let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes.
  7. Shape the mac and cheese mixture into small croquettes.
  8. Dip each croquette into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  9. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  10. Fry the croquettes until golden brown on all sides.
  11. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
