Ingredients
  • 3 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze.
  9. Remove the bread from the pan and drizzle the glaze over the top.
  10. Allow the bread to cool completely before serving.
