Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar. Add the flour and salt, and mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Pour the mixture over the baked crust.
  6. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 hour.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar, cut into bars, and serve.
