Ingredients
  • 500 gram Leeks
  • 400 gram Tomatoes
  • 150 gram Gruyere cheese
  • 200 ml Heavy cream
  • 50 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 30 gram Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Trim and wash the leeks, then slice them into thin rounds.
  3. Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds.
  4. Grate the Gruyere cheese.
  5. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the leeks and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  6. In a greased baking dish, layer the leeks, tomatoes, and Gruyere cheese.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the layered ingredients.
  8. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  10. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
