Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease four ramekins.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
-
In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
-
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
-
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until just combined.
-
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
-
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
-
While the cakes are baking, prepare the chocolate pudding by melting the semisweet chocolate and heavy cream together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
-
Remove the cakes from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
-
Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate, allowing the lava-style cake to release.
-
Serve the cakes warm, topped with the chocolate pudding and raspberry sauce.
-
To make the raspberry sauce, puree the raspberries in a blender or food processor until smooth. Stir in the powdered sugar.
-
Drizzle the raspberry sauce over the lava-style cakes and enjoy!
