Ingredients
  • 500 gram Turnips
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 50 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Peel and dice the turnips and potatoes.
  2. Boil them in salted water until tender.
  3. Drain the water and mash the turnips and potatoes together.
  4. Add butter, milk, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg to the mashed mixture.
  5. Mix well and transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and pour them over the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
