Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 200 gram All-purpose Flour
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 unit Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 tablespoon Sour Cream
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
  2. In a separate pan, sauté the finely chopped onion in olive oil until golden.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, sautéed onion, flour, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Shape the potato mixture into small balls or patties.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the knishes until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Transfer the fried knishes to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream on top.
