  • 4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 0.5 cup Molasses
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Raisins
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil.
  3. Gradually whisk in the cornmeal, molasses, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the raisins.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until set.
  8. Let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm or chilled.
