Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm milk.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  3. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and yogurt.
  4. Mix until the dough comes together.
  5. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the grill or oven to high heat.
  8. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a teardrop shape.
  9. Brush each naan with melted butter.
  10. Place the naan on the grill or baking sheet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until puffed and lightly browned.
  11. Serve hot.
