Ingredients
  • 200 gram Mushrooms
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 beaten Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms release their moisture and become tender.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the mushroom mixture onto each pastry square. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the turnovers with beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow the turnovers to cool for a few minutes before serving.
