Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Brown Sugar
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Golden Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 gram Chopped Nuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, golden syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Continue to cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it reaches a temperature of 250°F (120°C) on a candy thermometer.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped nuts, if desired.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
  5. Once cooled, cut the toffee into small squares or rectangles.
  6. Let the toffee candy rest for another 30 minutes to set completely.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
