Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Whipping cream
  • 4 ounce Dark chocolate
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.
  7. While the cake is still warm, dust a clean kitchen towel with powdered sugar and place the cake on top. Roll the cake tightly with the towel and let it cool completely.
  8. In a chilled bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  9. Unroll the cake and spread the whipped cream evenly over the surface.
  10. Roll the cake back up without the towel, starting from one end.
  11. Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle it over the rolled cake.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
