Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (cold)
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the white chocolate chips.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  7. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together.
  8. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut it into 8 wedges.
  9. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown.
  11. Allow the scones to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
