Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and mix until well combined.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.
