  • 150 gram Butter
  • 2 teaspoon Golden syrup
  • 100 gram Sugar
  • 200 gram Flour
  • 2 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the butter and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, ground ginger, and baking soda.
  4. Pour the melted butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool in the dish before cutting into squares.
