Ingredients
  • 8 slices Bread
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the bread into cubes and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all the bread is soaked.
  5. Dot the top of the casserole with small pieces of butter.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
