  6. Spread the mixture evenly using a spatula.
  7. Let the toffee cool for about 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the warm toffee.
  9. Wait for a few minutes until the chocolate chips start to melt, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee.
  10. Sprinkle the chopped almonds over the melted chocolate.
  11. Allow the toffee to cool completely, then break it into pieces.
  12. Store the English toffee in an airtight container.
