Ingredients
  • 115 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Granulated sugar
  • 40 gram Cocoa powder
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 70 gram All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch (23x23 cm) baking pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar and cocoa powder until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. If desired, stir in chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
