Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Molasses
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, molasses, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish.
  7. Once cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.
  8. Cut into bars and serve.
