Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Dust the donuts with powdered sugar while they are still warm.
  8. Allow the donuts to cool for about 30 minutes before serving.
