Ingredients
  • 150 gram Butter
  • 75 gram Granulated sugar
  • 10 gram Black tea leaves
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 25 gram Cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the black tea leaves and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain the butter to remove the tea leaves.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into a log shape and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and slice it into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  7. Place the rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
