  2. In a blender, combine the flour, sugar, salt, milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  3. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Swirl the butter around to coat the bottom and sides of the skillet.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot skillet and immediately place it back in the oven.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the Dutch baby is puffed and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
