  • 1.5 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Chopped dates
  • 0.5 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup Chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
  6. Stir in the chopped dates, chopped walnuts, and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
