Ingredients
  • 6 ounce Dark chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and unsalted butter together, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour in the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the old-fashioned oats and chopped walnuts.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
