Ingredients
  • 2.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the milk, egg, and vanilla extract together.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the doughnut batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the doughnuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Allow the doughnuts to cool for about 5 minutes.
  8. Roll the doughnuts in powdered sugar until coated.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
