Ingredients
  • 2 cup Rice
  • 2 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in the milk and chicken broth. Cook until thickened.
  6. Stir in the cooked rice, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with parsley before serving.
