Ingredients
  • 250 gram Macaroni
  • 200 gram Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni and cheddar cheese to the saucepan. Stir until the cheese is melted and the macaroni is evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the macaroni mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs and parsley. Sprinkle the mixture over the macaroni.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
