Ingredients
  • 500 gram Spinach
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 30 gram All-purpose flour
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 50 gram Parmesan cheese
  • 30 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pot, blanch the spinach in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add the blanched spinach to the sauce and mix well.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
