Ingredients
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Creamed corn
  • 4 tablespoon Unsalted butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk and creamed corn, and mix well.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Melt the butter and pour it into the prepared baking dish. Swirl the dish to coat the bottom and sides with butter.
  6. Pour the batter into the baking dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Cut into squares and serve warm.
