Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 unit Egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
  • 2 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 0.5 cup Orange juice
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the egg yolks and orange zest, and process until the dough comes together.
  2. Press the dough into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange juice, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
  4. Pour the cranberry mixture into the tart shell.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Allow the tart to cool for at least 1 hour.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
