In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

Gradually add flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Sprinkle cocoa powder over the remaining batter and swirl with a knife to create a ripple effect.
