Ingredients
  • 250 gram Pie crust
  • 2 cup Apples
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the apples, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Brush the mixture over the edges of the pie crust.
  6. Bake the pie for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 1 hour.
  8. Serve the pie with whipped cream on top.
