Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the granulated sugar.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times.
  8. Roll out the dough to a 1/2-inch thickness.
  9. Cut out biscuits using a round biscuit cutter and place them on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
