Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes.
  8. Dust the donuts with powdered sugar before serving.
