Ingredients
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 large Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 ounce Dark chocolate
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until steaming.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Gradually whisk the dry mixture into the steaming milk.
  4. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks.
  6. Gradually pour the hot milk mixture into the egg yolks while whisking continuously.
  7. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and dark chocolate until melted.
  9. Pour the custard into individual serving dishes.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  11. Serve chilled and enjoy!
