Chocolate Cookies recipe

The first chocolate chip cookie was created by Ruth Graves Wakefield in the 1930s when she added chopped chocolate to her cookie dough, expecting the chocolate to melt and create chocolate cookies. Instead, the chocolate pieces retained their shape, resulting in the invention of the chocolate chip cookie.
