  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cups Chocolate Chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
