Ingredients
  • 200 gram Carrots
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 200 gram Sugar
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 200 gram Cream cheese
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 0.5 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the grated carrots, flour, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and milk until creamy and smooth.
  8. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
  9. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.
  10. Let the cake rest for 30 minutes before serving.
