Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 150 gram Granulated Sugar
  • 100 gram Brown Sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 250 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 40 gram Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 200 gram Chocolate Chips
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
