Ingredients
  • 115 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Granulated sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 150 gram All-purpose flour
  • 40 gram Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and then roll them in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  8. Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
