  • 1.5 cup Oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.75 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Dried cherries
  • 0.5 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together oats, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the dried cherries and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and let them cool completely. Enjoy!
