Ingredients
  • 2 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice and cheese sauce. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with parsley.
