Ingredients
  • 1 cup Grits
  • 1 cup Corn kernels
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the grits and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter and add the corn kernels. Cook for 5 minutes until the corn is tender.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Once the grits are cooked, remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the grits mixture to a baking dish and top with the cooked corn.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
