Ingredients
  • 2 cups Broccoli
  • 1 cups Long Grain Rice
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook broccoli and rice separately according to their package instructions.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened and translucent.
  4. Stir in flour until well combined. Gradually whisk in milk and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in grated cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, steamed broccoli, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
