Ingredients
  • 200 gram Chantarelle mushrooms
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 150 gram Gruyere cheese
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 150 ml Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 150 gram Mixed salad greens
  • 100 gram Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the chantarelle mushrooms until golden brown.
  4. Spread the sautéed mushrooms evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Sprinkle the grated gruyere cheese on top.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the mushrooms and cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tart is golden and set.
  9. While the tart is baking, prepare the salad by combining the mixed salad greens and cherry tomatoes.
  10. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil to make the dressing.
  11. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
  12. Let the tart rest for 10 minutes before serving.
